The Nantucket division of the Probate and Family Court is located at 16 Broad St., Nantucket. The court is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is limited metered-parking around the court building; however, public transportation is available. The Nantucket Probate and Family Court serves the residents of Nantucket, along with nearby islands of Tuckermuck and Musket. Given its location 30 miles south of Cape Cod, it is accessible only by boat or by plane. With 10,172 permanent residents, it’s the least populous county in Massachusetts, though the population swells to about 50,000 each summer with tourists and seasonal residents.
